What We Do

Paces Energy does everything possible to make trade work better. We source energy products from strategic locations and deliver where they are needed safely, reliably and efficiently. We support producers, invest in terminals and transportation networks, meeting the most demanding delivery mandates by governments or businesses.

Paces Energy negotiates offtake agreements with oil refiners and global energy traders. We store petroleum products at owned and third-party storage facilities. By operating safely and efficiently, we move commodities by barge, truck and vessels for our core trading activities and third parties.

Physical commodity sourcing and marketing requires the highest standards in the handling, shipment and storage of energy products from supplier to customer.

Our strategic partnership with leading global shipbrokers provides direct access to vessel owners and vessels for our trading needs.

Through this unique partnership, we leverage the expert understanding of operational requirements for crude and petroleum products trading markets in West Africa, Europe and Middle East Gulf regions.

Commodity Trading

Paces Energy’s core business is physical trading. We buy, transport, store and deliver energy across the West African region. We source energy products from a range of suppliers, with additional interests in oil and gas production sharing contracts.Products are traded across West Africa, through relying on a combination of physical assets, logistical presence, and professional expertise, with the company continuing to expand its products trading activities through its partnerships with international traders and term contracts governments and independent marketers in the region.

Crude Oil

In addition to continuous business development efforts in West Africa through relationships with national oil companies and independent producers, Paces Energy is able to leverage its position as a supplier of energy products to gain access to several opportunities in the region.

Gasoil & Jet

Paces Energy International is highly active in the light and middle distillates market, trading 180,000 metric tonnes in 2016. Jet (ATK), Kerosene (DPK) and Diesel (AGO) are products traded across the West African region, through relying on a combination of physical assets, logistical presence and professional expertise. We ensure our products meet the most stringent quality industry requirements for fuel in aircraft engines, power generators and automotive engines.

Fuel Oil

Paces Energy has been a key player in fuel oil in the West African region since 2012. Our trading activities have increased along the coast and trading opportunities have further expanded through term supplies. We mainly source from the Europe and Arab Gulf, depending on arbitrage opportunities.
